Changes I’ve made so far to v 1.8, which was originally created for the joint webinar I hosted with Katherine Tole of the V123 Pros:
Fixed annoying overhang of one color square that didn’t match up with the others around it, in the dashboard.
Separated Languages & Accents into a Languages section, and an Accents & Ethnicities section.
Added language count
Have been manually adding new countries to the visualization assistance tab as clients have them on their samples
Removed 2nd word cloud. Now only the one for Search Keywords remains.
Thinking about adding something to help check for overuse of keywords between the two sections Search Keywords and Sample Name.
Added horizontal and vertical table lines to the heatmap, so that it’s easier to use when you print it out
Added a Voice Gender and Age section
Fixed a miscount issue on the viz assist tab that
Fixed issue in the Python script that was mishandling writing to-do advice for when a Purpose of Recording or Voice Style(s) were missing.
Also adjusted the notifications for overuse of Purpose/Style to be 3+ samples AND over 5% of total. Thinking about adjusting this further, because 3 is too few if someone has 50 samples in the same genre.
Folks have commented they like having more commentary, and they especially like having video links. I am planning on making videos for each section, and linking them.
Still looking for someone to help me with building the dashboard in Looker Studio. And still working on getting my scripts to run in the cloud. Taking a break to build a transcriber that will listen to the samples, transcribe them, and copy itself to the clipboard so all I have to do is hit CTRL+V once per sample.
