V123 Moving Samples Glitch, Security Update
Because the platform never stops updating, we shouldn't either

Glitch When Moving Sample to Other Playlist
Have you seen the weird glitch when you try to send a sample from its current playlist to a different one? It looks like the move failed, and you get a popup in a bar across the bottom that says “The sample should have attributes supported by provider”.
Heckin’ what?
No worries though, here’s what you do:
If you see that popup, hit CANCEL.
Click the three dots to EDIT that sample you just tried to send.
Save that sample, you don’t actually need to make any edits.
You’ll see that the sample has now magically popped over into the playlist where you originally tried to send it. Problem solved.
V123 Security Update
There has been a new security update on Voice123 that has thrown me and my tools for a loop, but protects your voice a lot better!
I used to be able to download any audio file from anyone’s profile, even while not logged in. I also built a little spider bot that could put all of the metadata on your samples (like all their names, Purposes of Recording, Additional Sample Details, etc.) into a spreadsheet. The purpose was to help people optimize their profiles, but technically someone could have nefarious purposes and access your audio.
That’s been fixed! Bots will find it IMPOSSIBLE to get your V123 audio or info. In fact, a bot can’t even load the page. Immediate 503 error!
Outwardly, nothing has changed. But behind the scenes, they pushed out a nice security update for everyone. :-)
(Did it break my tools? Yes. I’m hard at work though!)
Best,
Nikki
